THE WEBER MOVIE COUNTDOWN

THE GOAL FOR 2018: 200 MOVIES WATCHED BY MIDNIGHT NEW YEAR'S EVE!  (AFTER TOPPING OUT AT 194 in 2017)

CAN HE DO IT?

VICE (2015)

Movie catchup: #40 is the godawful Vice (2015) which is merely a sleazy Westworld ripoff where people get to live their sexual fantasies with beauteous robots. But one sexy android thinks it's real and escapes and blah blah blah blah BLAH (sorry I bored myself). Bruce Willis (as the owner of said place) absolutely walks thru this for a paycheck and is fast becoming a beacon of bad movies and this is boring, derivative, pick your own subpar adjectives. #41 is 2014's No Good Deed where Taraji P. Henson, with a little girl and infant, lets in Idris Elba on a dark and stormy night - you see poor Elba has had an accident and needs to call a tow truck. Except that Elba is an escaped convict who has killed a few people and has mental problems. Hilarity ensues. Well, maybe not. Not terrible but terribly predictable. Might be good for a party game where you have to chug a beer every time you correctly guess a plot point. All will be drunk by movie's end.
