THE WEBER MOVIE COUNTDOWN

#7 of 2015 is last year's Selma, which takes liberties with the true story of the march on Selma but benefits from some outstanding performances except for a miscast Tom Wilkinson as LBJ who never convinces you that he's not Tom Wilkinson. It's a good movie not a great one that shocks you by showing just how brutal a church bombing and riots between police and marchers can really be. Hard to watch sometimes but quite impactful and reminds you how difficult and awful the battle for civil rights really was.

TLA one-word review: average
