CAN HE DO IT?

NSFW (2014)

Not sure why I watched this.  Maybe because I found it on Amazon Prime, which has the oddest back catalog around.  Elenore (Audrey Kovar) seems to be big on the internet because of the unusual nude selfies she posts on her blog.  She’s attractive enough, I’ll give her that – but people are paying for these pics and she’s making a living (after posing topless with a bunch of different animal masks on, she gets a phone call.  Her response: “Can’t talk – I’m WORKING!”) She’s bisexual and dating a rich woman who wants her to make a commitment.  But she can’t do it.  And there’s an older man she met thru her blog (Richard Buonagurio) who’s stuck in a loveless and sexless marriage who drops by to role play and give her lots more material for her blog.  No one in this movie has a clearly defined relationship but theirs is the closest to something – they talk, laugh, have a nice rapport with each other.  But nothing comes of it by the time this very short film (about 70 minutes) ends.  NSFW could have benefited from fleshing out (no pun intended) these two people getting to know each other as people rather than sex objects.  As it is it’s a short slice of life that could use more life.

SHOULD TLA SEE THIS? Nah – it’s NSFTLA
