KNOCK KNOCK (2015)

Movie 13 of the year, watched during the blizzard, was 2015's "Knock Knock," inexplicably remade from a 1977 piece of utter trash called "Death Game" that poked around pay cable a lot in the 80s. Keanu Reeves is a husband and father holed up at home for a weekend while his wife and kids go to the beach. It's pouring out and a knock on the door reveals two lovely young women who are lost and drenched. They ask to use a phone, then they ask to dry their clothes and, as the gu...y tries to get them an Uber, they seduce him. The next day, they slowly turn on him, saying they are underage, threatening to call the cops. Then they start to terrorize him in so many ways...

Directed by an incredibly restrained Eli Roth, I'm afraid this is as awful as the original, just updated with Face Time, texting and Facebook. Sondra Locke and Colleen Camp, stars of the original, are producers of this. Didn't they learn the first time out??

TLA one-word review:creepy
