THE WEBER MOVIE COUNTDOWN

HECTOR & THE SEARCH FOR HASPPINESS (2014)

Wow between travelling and being sick I am WAY behind on the ol' movie countdown. So let's lop off a few. #21 is 2014's I Origins, an extremely disappointing sci-fi flick that started off very promising regarding reincarnation and the origins of the eye. Avoid. #22 is 2014's Hector and the Search for Happiness, which I loved. Simon Pegg is a mild mannered psychiatrist who finds he needs to travel the world to figure out what happiness really is. Rosamund Pike is his devoted girlfriend who is left behind while he makes his trip. I suspect one will either love or hate this one. I am in the love category, as a number of remarkably serious moments occur in this, and we find Pegg is more than able to handle drama. An unexpected pleasure, this film is worth your time. It's on ITunes.
