CAN HE DO IT?

BAD WORDS (2014)

#29 is the brand new "Bad Words," one of the funniest, nastiest films of the year so far. Jason Bateman, playing totally against type (he also directed), is a 40-year old who finds a loophole in the national spelling bee rules and competes, hated all the way, by the kids and their parents, til he gets to the finals. And Bateman hates everyone and all are targets, even the kids he faces off against. Why is he doing this? I can't say but this is "Bad Santa" territory, as Bateman totally has the gloves off. Totally un-PC and laugh out loud funny. People will either love this or hate this - put me in the love camp.
